猛獅 R33 MAN R33

自二零零七年嶼巴開始大量引進猛獅巴士開始，其車隊超過九成皆是猛獅產品。繼從母公司冠忠集團不同的子公司引進不少的A51及A91型號後，嶼巴終於在二零一七年年初引進猛獅另一客車旗艦產品：R33型客車。

雖然兩者同樣配用亞洲的Aero車身，但要從外觀上分辨猛獅A91及R33可以由左側車尾入手，猛獅R33左邊車尾設有一個大型通風柵網，另外駕駛室位置較A91為高，至於其他車廂配置均與A91相近。在實際分類上，猛獅A91是定位作為城際客運用途，而R33則是用作長途客車之用，不過在冠忠集團中港直通巴士網絡中，都常常見到兩款巴士蹤影，接載旅客穿梭於香港與國內不同口岸及城市之間。

一如過往猛獅客車，猛獅R33加入嶼巴車隊後主力行走往返東涌及大嶼山南部路線，而隨著車隊更替活動持續進行，相信往後加入嶼巴車隊的猛獅巴士，會以R33型號為主。

MAN become the mainstream of NLB since 2007 and at present, more than 90 percent of the fleet is composed of MAN. In 2017, we saw another MAN model, the R33 coach joined NLB after it predecessor the A51 and A91 form parent company, the Kwoon Chung Group.

R33 is the flagship product of MAN and you can distinguish them form the A91 by the large size grille at the rear of nearside and a higher driving position. Both A91 and R33 shared the same Aero bodywork compartment design after bodied by Asia Auto. MAN A91 and R33 were designed for different purpose, the former was used as inter-city bus while the latter, as coach for long-haul service. However, it was a common sight for observing both model on the cross border bus service between Hong Kong and different cities in the mainland China within the cross broader bus networks operated by Kwoon Chung Group.

NLB deployed the MAN R33 on routes serving the Southern Lantau as in the past. It can be expected that more MAN R33 joined NLB in the near future under the continuous fleet renewal programme.
