五洲龍 Wuzhoulong

正當新福利從中國引進金龍巴士,澳巴亦在稍後時間購買國產巴士作試驗,但卻是另一生產商五洲龍的出品。先行到埗的是一架長十一米的FDG6110G樣板車,於二零零五年十一月抵澳,除了是首架澳巴國產巴士,亦成為當時澳巴車隊中最長的巴士。緊隨其後的是兩架長九點六米的FDG6920G,這兩架五洲龍樣板車最大特色,是車身外觀近似澳洲Designline設計,亦即香港珀麗灣早年引進的電動巴士所配用的車身,因而被暱稱「子彈頭」。最後,澳巴更革命性地引進澳門首兩架以柴油及電力推動的混能巴士FDG6110HEVG,為宣傳這兩架混能巴士,澳巴更於車頭及車尾張貼宣傳棋額。

在投入服務初期,三架柴油版本的五洲龍被安排到主幹路線10,而混能版本的新車則安排在澳氹路線30上行走。五架新車的引擎都是由玉柴提供,符合歐盟三型排放標準,波箱則全數選用了美國廠家Allison出品,而空調設備亦不用額外引擎提供動力。載客量方面,FDG6110G及FDG6110HEVG可乘載六十八名乘客,當中包括三十五個座位,而FDG6920G則提供二十四個座位及二十七個企位。

在投入服務一段時間後,柴油推動的五洲龍表現尚算可靠,但混能版本五洲龍,或許當年設計及相關部件尚未成熟,所以長期留在車廠待修,最後便無以為繼,從車隊中退下來,未有再於路面上服務乘客。鑑於車隊中的日產小巴牽涉多宗交通意外,加上整體車齡偏高,備受坊間批評,有關當局更勒令停駛四十多部日產巴士,為了填補車隊空缺及改善服務質素,澳巴立即向五洲龍訂購新車,並於二零零五年至零六年間交赴澳巴。

回頭再說三架樣板五洲龍,在大量五洲龍投入服務後就轉作後備車,但在巴士營運新模式實施後,亦有被安排服務乘客,而且更換全新的橙色電子路線牌,FDG6110G主要支援22線,而兩架「子彈頭」則主要行走10B及12線,不過其後退出營運車隊,兩架FDG6920G最終在二零一七年九月正式退役,FDG6101G則還一直作非專營巴士,留守到二零一九年年初才退役

In Nov., 2005, TCM took delivery of it first China-built bus from Wuzhoulong of Shenzhen after the arrival of the Transmac's Kinglong. The first to be commissioned was a sole FDG6110G, a 11m full-sized single decker, not only the first bus from the mainland in TCM but also the longest bus at that time. A pair of 9.2m Wuzhoulong FDG6920G was followed and featured with a "Designlie-look-alikes" bodywork and nicknamed "Bullet-head". Finally, a pair of Wuzhoulong FDG6110HEVG hybrid demonstrators were arrived, with promoting banner of "Low-pollution Hybrid electric bus" at the front and rear as they were the first in Macau.

After their commissioned, FDG6920G and FDG6110G were deployed on the trunk route 10 while hybrid demonstrators were trial on route 30 between Macau and Taipa. All of them were fitted with Yuchai engine with Allison fully automatic transmission and powerful enough to drive the air conditioning unit. The carrying capacity of FDG6110G and FDG6110HEVG were 35 seating plus 33 standees while FDG6920G can carry 51 passengers with 24 seats offered.

The diesel version demonstrators were considered reliable while for the pair of hybrid, due to immature design and parts, most of the time they just stayed at depot and withdrawn prematurely. TCM was criticized with the aging fleet and their Nissan Civillian minibus was involved a series of traffic accident, more than 40 buses were forced to cease service was resulted. to upgrade and as a replacement, TCM acquired new buses from Wuzhoulong and was delivered between 2005 and 2006.

The remaining demonstrators were as reserve after the production unit entered service, they were active again after the start of new bus operation mode with an orange coloured route display fitted, the FDG6101G was support route 22 while the "Bullet-head" was mainly serving route 10B and 12 for a period of time before they were taken off from revenue service. Finally, the FDG6920G was withdrawn in Sep., 2017 and scrapped by the end of Feb., 2018., while the FDG6101G was used as private bus until withdrawn in early 2019.
