五洲龍FDG6951G Wuzhoulong FDG6951G

二零一三年,澳巴除了替二零一一年訂購的天然氣版五洲龍FDG6101CNG登記出牌外,同時接收三十五架於二零一二年訂購的五洲龍FDG6951G中型單層低地台巴士,在完成有關測試及出牌程序後,首架新車隨於二零一三年五月二十四日投入服務。

澳巴購入的這批五洲龍FDG6951G,再一次表現出澳巴提升服務質素的決心。在香港,符合歐五排放標準的公共巴士早於二零一零年已經開始大舉投入服務,但澳門公共巴士巿場中,儘管新巴士營運模式於二零一一年實施,但有關當局只是要求巴士營運商,車隊只需要符合歐盟三型排放標準。三家澳門巴士公司中,澳巴服務質素在二零一一年八月前一直備受澳門巿民詬病,但就配合新巴士營運模式而採取的動作,澳巴可說是走在最前,這從其購入的車隊全數均以歐盟四型引擎作動力可見一斑。

緊隨著天然氣版本五洲龍新車而來的FDG6951G,更加是澳巴首款配用歐五排放標準引擎的新車,動力來源是一台美國製造的康明斯引擎,比對昔日五洲龍慣常採用的國產玉柴引擎,是一個突破,至於全自動傳動系統仍然由Allison提供。全數五洲龍FDG6951G能夠提供二十一人座位及三十一人企位,不過在車廂設計方面,雖然FDG6951G是一款低地台巴士,但低地台區域只是維持到中門位置。如前文所述,首架新車於五月二十四日首航12號路線,隨後投入服務的新車亦陸續安排於2,2A及12路線上服務乘客,這批路線都是原由五洲龍FDG6920BG中型巴士行走。

首部五洲龍FDG6951G雖然早於二零一二年十一月底抵澳,但較二零一三年三月才抵澳的首架新福利歐五版本Rosa小巴,遲了一日才於路面上正式服務乘客。目前,澳巴五洲龍FDG6951G多見於行走2A,7及52路線。

TCM not only released the Wuzhoulong FDG6101CNG buses in 2013, but also a batch of 35 Wuzhoulong FDG6951G midibuses.

Though the service provided by TCM was regarded unsatisfactory before 1 August 2011, we can see TCM had made efforts to improve the service standard under the new bus operation mode. One of the evidence is the new Euro 4 standard buses acquired by TCM, though only Euro 3 emission standard required by the government. The introduction of the FDG6951G is another milestone of TCM as all of them are powered by a Euro 5 engine, the first for both TCM and the Macau public bus market.

Euro 5 emission standard was not a new thing in Hong Kong public bus market but in Macau, this batch of Wuzhoulong is the first Euro 5 standard public bus. Unliked the Wuzhoulong purchased in the past, the engine fitted on FDG6951G is from Cummins in USA instead of the Yuchai from the mainland. The standard Allison fully automatic gearbox still can find on this batch of Wuzhoulong. Total 52 passengers can be carried by the FDG6951G with 21 seats offered.

The first FDG6951G was delivered to Macau in the end of Nov., 2012, much earlier than the Euro 5 version Mitsubishi Rosa of Transmac, however, the first FDG6951G was entered service on 24 May, 2013, a day after the commissioned of the Euro 5 Rosa. in the early stage of their commissioned, FDG6951G mainly serving route used to deploy with Wuzhoulong FDG6920BG liked 2, 2A and 12 and at present, it is a common sight for seeing them on route 2A, 7 and 52.
