港鐵巴士部 MTR Bus Division
九廣鐵路巴士部於一九八七年接收首批巴士，都城嘉慕都城型九點七米，於紅磡車站裝配上原廠車身後，外貌跟九巴同款車輛無異。而在翌年，九鐵再加訂八部同款車輛，在完成九鐵的訂單後，都城嘉慕也宣佈退出巴士製造商行列，亦令這批巴士成為該車廠最後的產品了。除了訂購新巴士，九廣鐵路巴士部亦於一九八八年在都城嘉慕協助下，向英國South Yorkshire PTE Ltd.購入二十部一九八零年款的都城型一型巴士，以確保有足夠巴士提供服務。
另外為提供更完善之服務，在一九八八年九月，九鐵向豐田購入十二部豐田Coaster小型空調巴士，用以行走龍鼓灘路線。一九八九至九零年，再購入十一架載客量更大的三菱MK117中型巴士，並於同年試用一架丹尼士飛鏢，但未有即時作出訂購。另外在九零年，九鐵為進一步提高接駁巴士服務質素，購入二十四架利蘭奧林比安十一米空調巴士，行走接駁九鐵車站路線。一九九五年，為取代退役的二手都城巴士，九鐵購入十八架配Northern Counties車身的單層空調巴士，包括十五架富豪B10M及三架丹尼士飛鏢，令九鐵成為全港擁有最多Northern Counties車身巴士公司。而在九七到九八年，再購入共十五架富豪奧林比安十一米空調巴士。
In 1986, KCRC Bus Division was established to provide feeder bus service in remote areas within Tuen Mun and Yuen Long as a response to the construction of Light Rail Transit system. All routes served by KMB in these areas were transferred to KCRC. Passengers can change LRT from feeder bus free of charge with valid ticket. In addition, KCRC bus division took over two free feeder services used to operate by KMB (route no. K11 and K12).
The first batch of MCW Metrobus were delivered to KCRC in 1987 and received their MCW bodyworks at Hung Hom Station. The look of the bus same as those in KMB fleet. KCRC then made a further order of 8 more buses and after this order, MCW quitted from buses manufacturing business. To ensure enough buses in operation, KCRC acquired 20 second-hand MCW Metrobus MK I with the help of MCW from South YorKshire PTE Ltd.
In Sep., 1988, 12 Toyota Coaster air-conditioned minibuses were purchased for Lung Kwu Tang route. 11 Mitsubishi MK117 midi buses and 24 Leyland Olympians were ordered between 1989 and 1990 to upgrade the service standard. To meet the decommissioned of 20 Metrobus MK I, KCRC placed an order of 18 air-con. single decker with Northern Counties bodyworks (15 of them were Volvo B10M and the balance were Dennis Dart). 15 Plaxton bodies Volvo Olympian were ordered by KCRC with two batches in 1997-1998. Like other bus operators in Hong Kong, KCRC also introduced super low floor buses in 2000 and the model was popular in Hong Kong, the Dennis Trident. 42 Dennis Trident 10.6m were introduced from NWFB in Dec., 2004 to replace the Metrobus. In 2005, KCR Bus Division become fully air-conditioned.
KCRC were merged into MTR on 2 Dec., 2007. KCRC Bus Division was then changed into MTR Bus Division and the network remain unchanged. The MTR Bus Division livery was the same as the KCR era with the original logo was replaced by a MTR logo. In order to establish a new image, MTR introduced two different colour schemes on East Rail and West Rail feeder service in Aug., 2009 and Sep., 2009 respectively.
KCRC Bus Division placed an order for 9 Alexander Dennis Envio500 and 11 Enviro200Dart as the replacement for the first batch of Leyland Olympian and Mitsubishi MK 117J respectively. All buses mentioned above started to serve passengers since early 2008. A further 15 Enviro500 were acquired during 2009 to replace all remaining Leyland Olympian. Alexander Dennis successfully gained another purchasing order from MTR Bus in 2010. This order included 9 Enviro500 11.3m and 9 Enviro400 for replacing the aging single decker with Northern Counties bodyworks. MTR Bus is the second bus operator introduced the production unit of Enviro400 in Hong Kong.
Not only the East Rail Line and West Rail Line provided feeder bus service, Airport Express also once provided shuttle service starting from Kowloon or Hong Kong Station, linking surrounded hotel and central business area. Tai Fung Coach Company, a subsidiary company of Kwoon Chung Group, was authorised to run this service since 1998 until 30 Jun., 2020 when it was cancelled after the expiry of the contract.
