豐田 Coaster BZB70/XZB70 Toyota Coaster BZB70/XZB70

豐田於二零一六年十二月二十二日正式推出新一代型號為B70 (石油氣版本為BZB70，柴油版本為XZB70)的Coaster小巴，香港作為Coaster其中一個重要的海外市場，首批B70新車先見於學童巴士市場，隨於二零一七年九月新學期開始，接載數以萬計莘莘學子上學去。至於公共小巴方面，同年九月五日亦首見有這款新世代Coaster投入服務。

擁有可觀Coaster數量的進智公交，在接收完二零一六年訂購的BZB50長陣Coaster小巴後，在更新車隊時繼續從豐田手上接收新車，型號自然轉為全新的B70型號，首批新車全數屬石油氣版的BZB70。BZB70跟BZB50最大分別在於車身設計，前者的車身設計是較為四方，完全擺脫上一代渾圓車身影子，彷彿源於再上一代Coaster車身(B20/B30系列)一樣，至於車廂空間亦較之前的Coaster有所改善，進一步增加乘車舒適度，最重要B70型Coaster車身，能夠符合歐盟大型客車車身結構強度法規要求。而繼二零零七到零八年引進的Rosa小巴後，豐田Coaster B70成為車隊中另一款配備電子路線牌的小巴，在初期投入服務的小巴，電子路線牌由廣州八通電子及本地生產商展暉供應，而自大約二零一九年六月起投入服務的新車則配用Hanover，甚至加設側牌方便乘客。

進智公交的豐田Coaster B70自首架新車UZ7840開始，已經是以十九座位形式示人，對改善營運效率有莫大幫助。除了BZB70，進智公交亦有購入柴油版本的XZB70型號，最明顯的特徵是採用全密封車窗。

Toyota announced the launch of new generation Coaster, model B70, on 22 Dec., 2016, B70 can further divided into BZB70 (LPG version) and XZB70 (Diesel version). As one of the important overseas market of Coaster, Hong Kong soon received it first Coaster B70 as school bus and commissioned in Sep., 2017 when the new semester started. For the public minibus sector, the first Coaster B70 as GMB was entered service on 5 Sep., 2017.

AMS operates a good number of Toyota Coaster and after took the delivery of the long wheel-based BZB50 Coaster in 2016, soon receive the BZB70 version since Sep., 2017 for fleet renewal. The most distinct difference between the model BZB50 and BZB70 was the design of bodywork, BZB70 in a much rectangular look and show some resemblance to the model B20 or B30 series. Commuters can enjoy a much comfortable journey benefited from the spacious compartment. To go one step further, Coaster B70 bodywork complied with the requirement of ECE-R66 imposed by EU. Electronic route display was the standard for the Coaster BZB70 and within the early batch, the display was mainly supplied by Patent from Guangzhou, China or local manufacturer Transfull while those delivered since Jun., 2019, Hanover product was fitted together with an additional nearside display.

Starting from the first of the type, UZ7840, all Coaster BZB70 of AMS was 19-seaters and a better operation efficiency can be resulted. AMS further acquired a batch of XZB70 and featured with sealed windows.
